I have a whole lot to be thankful for this year. I started a new job at the beginning of the year that I truly love, and my partner was able to escape his horrible job a month ago. It doesn’t pay near as much but he’s so much happier and so am I.

I’m thankful I wasn’t hurt in my car accident earlier in the year. It also erased a big chunk of debt, and now I have a car that’s more entertaining and way cheaper.

I’m thankful that we both have such great parents. They’re all supportive and great people. We got to have dinner with my parents this past weekend, and today we’re hanging out at his parents’ place.

Also, my dad contacted me out of the blue and I've visited with him a few times, after not having much contact for years.

Still c an’t find a decent job after I (willingly, like a moron) shot myself in the nuts by leaving Jalopnik. My cars are borked and I can’t afford to fix them. Heck, even my Puffalumps need attention and (see source of depression re: cars). I just kind of feel forgotten about and useless lately, and thus, life is trash.
